Why Arkansas?
The climate of Arkansas is considered humid subtropical, with relatively mild temperatures and significant precipitation. Summers are long; winters are short, yet residents still enjoy four distinct seasons. The geography of this landlocked state is varied. The Mississippi River makes up the state’s eastern border, and the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains stand in contrast to the flat plains of the east.
