Why Idaho?

Idaho is a state famous for potatoes, trout fishing and natural beauty. Its rugged landscape offers everything from pristine lakes to snow-capped mountains, active glaciers to thick forests, steep canyons to sparkling waterfalls. Idaho offers 25,000 miles of trails for hiking and backpacking, 3,000 miles of navigable whitewater for rafting and over 100 natural hot springs for soaking. A huge portion of the state is designated as protected wilderness, national forest, national recreational area, or nature reserve. Whether your hobby is mountain biking, skiing, parasailing, or camping, you’ll not soon be bored if you’re an outdoor enthusiast! Like its geography, Idaho’s climate is one of extreme variability, with temperatures ranging from well below zero in the winter to over 100 in the summer. If the weather doesn’t suit your mood, cities like Nampa, Meridian, and Idaho Falls offer museums, aquariums, restaurants, shopping, and theme parks to add to the state’s diversity. Boise, the biggest city in Idaho, even has a Shakespeare Festival in their outdoor amphitheater during warmer months.
