Why Indiana?

Indiana is known for basketball, agriculture and auto industry. It’s largest city, Indianapolis, has been named the “Racing Capital of the World” and hosts the famous Indy 500. Beyond that, it’s known for its zoo and several great museums. If you’re into sports, Indiana is home to several pro sports teams including the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts. Or, if you prefer the slow-pace of rural life, you’ll find plenty of sprawling prairies, winding rivers and acres of forested land in Indiana, as well. Way up north, you’ll encounter beautiful Lake Michigan which makes up part of the state’s border. The sand dunes and coastline of Indiana Dunes National Park offers lots of recreational opportunity, along with 24 other state parks—amazing places to camp, fish, boat, hike, swim or go cross-country skiing. The state’s humid, subtropical climate boasts four distinct seasons, making it an outstanding place to explore and enjoy year-round recreational opportunities.
