Why Minnesota?

Minnesota is known as the land of 10,000 lakes, and to be more specific there are over 11,000 lakes in the state! Despite the humid and somewhat extreme temperatures this creates, U.S. News and World Report has ranked Minnesota the #2 place to live in the country! Some of the reason for this is the well-kept, natural beauty you’ll find. For example, the Boundary Waters Wilderness area offers over one million acres of remote land for camping, kayaking, swimming, hiking, fishing and canoeing, just to name a few possibilities. Minnesota’s famous North Shore is the 150-mile stretch that runs from the port town of Duluth all the way to the Canadian border. This drive allows spectators to take in gorgeous cliff views and unique lighthouses along Lake Superior, the great lake that makes up part of Minnesota’s eastern border. For those who prefer the offerings of the city, the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) offer metropolitan adventures: museums, zoos, theaters, pro sporting events and the famous Mall of America.
