Why Wisconsin?

Wisconsin, known as America’s Dairyland, is famous for cheese curds and ice cream! Much of the state’s interior is made up of dense forests and rich, fertile farmland. However, the state’s geography is diverse enough to include unique features in every direction. To the west, you’ll encounter steep bluffs and ravines along the Mississippi River, to the east, sandy beaches along the shore of Lake Michigan, and to the north, a border of wetlands and lakes, including Lake Superior. Wisconsin offers natural beauty at every turn! Whether you’re checking out the wildlife and waterfalls within the 20+ state parks, taking in the sandstone formations of the Wisconsin Dells, hiking and biking on the state’s extensive trail system or visiting the many lighthouses along the shoreline of the Great Lakes, there’s always something outdoorsy to enjoy in the state’s four distinct seasons! For those more inclined to urban attractions, cities like Milwaukee present opportunities to attend professional sporting events, and visit museums, zoos, and great restaurants.
