The Christian and Missionary Alliance Denomination got its beginnings in New York, 1881, with Reverend Albert Bejamin Simpson and a group of 7 other believers who had a heart to reach the overlooked unbelievers in the city. Today, the denomination boasts of 6 million believers worldwide, with around half a million in the US alone. There are over 25,000 churches belonging to the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination, with services taught worldwide in around 180 different languages and dialects.
