Overview
The Christian and Missionary Alliance Denomination got its beginnings in New York, 1881, with Reverend Albert Bejamin Simpson and a group of 7 other believers who had a heart to reach the overlooked unbelievers in the city. Today, the denomination boasts of 6 million believers worldwide, with around half a million in the US alone. There are over 25,000 churches belonging to the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination, with services taught worldwide in around 180 different languages and dialects. Currently, there are five colleges associated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination across the United States and its territories.
